Reverend Ethan Acres went through a lot and knows the way to changing your life. What he does is art. You can not truly judge something as art. Art can only be art in the eyes of the person who makes it. Art is not for everyone but yet is open for the viewing of others to teach the artist or the person viewing it about life. His art is different because it shows how life choices effect ones art. It speaks to people spiritually on a different level with each individual. He uses his art to speak gods word to people internally. He is serious about his work because he has even gone the distance to get a doctorates in Divinity. He would not have gone this far if he was not serious. He loves his work and how it helps others find the light through a personal journey. It gives him satisfaction to know people's lives change when they see his work. He works to get people to hear his message like the beat at a party. He wants to truly reach his listeners through the power of art and religion.
Now don't get me wrong I don't condone in the fact that he wears spandex and goes around the church hopping like a mad child. I mean there are some things you don't do. He truly has a good heart for people though he may show it awkwardly. Even though he is very unorthodox as a pastor, he is a very humble man and still has qualities that deserve respect. His work is an art but it truly is not the art you are thinking of. Life is art once you truly delve into it and search for answers. So I conclude he is making art with out visually making art because it is human nature regardless if we know it or not.
From his videos of sermons he seems very passionate even though he may be miss guided about calling his work art. Divinity and God play a huge role in his heart and you can see it through his actions. You can see the supplication and empathy for man. He wants all of his followers to leave with a lesson learned in one way or another. He really has a heart and expresses it in a very unsubtle way.
